6. Will the Sterling silver tarnish?

Sterling silver is a precious metal that will eventually tarnish. Unfortunately it is the nature of the beast. Tarnish is a natural oxidization process and does not permanently damage the silver. Tarnish will collect on the surface of the jewelry and will need to wiped clean with a polishing cloth, one is provided with each item.

PLEASE NOTE: To avoid accelerated tarnishing please avoid the following
Liquid Jewelry Cleaner (this will also remove the antiquing of the letters)
     Pools
     Hot Tubs
     Harsh Chemicals

7. How do I care for my Sterling silver necklace?

We suggest that you remove your jewelry each night before bed as our nature body oils can accelerate tarnishing.

We recommend that periodically you wipe your jewelry down with the polishing/cleaning cloths we provided to help remove build up of dirt and oils. When you are not wearing your jewelry we suggest that you store it in the plastic baggie it came in to help slow down the tarnishing process.

Do not wear your jewelry in pools & hot tubs as the chemicals will damage the finish. Also avoid getting perfume and lotions on your jewelry as they can discolor the metals in your jewelry.

Do not dip your jewelry in liquid jewelry cleaners, it will remove the antiquing of the letters and designs. However you can use a mild sterling silver cleaning dip, just be sure to rinse it well with water after the dip. Cleaning dips can be found at most jewelry stores.

General rule of thumb, Jewelry is first thing on in the morning and last thing off before bed.

8. Why don’t I see the font choice I want for my item?

We have many sizes and styles of fonts available, unfortunately not all of them will work for each design. We want you to be happy with your choice and so we have taken the guess work out for you and list only the fonts that will work best for each design. If you have any questions about fonts please contact us.

9. What materials are used?

We use only the highest quality solid sterling silver, 14kt gold filled, copper, bronze, nu-gold and pewter metals. All jump rings are hand coiled and cut by us. The spiral dangle designed charms you see in some of the designs are also hand coiled and have come to be known as our signature. The crystals are Swarovski crystals which are the finest crystals available on the market today.

10. This is a gift, can I include a card when shipped?

We will be happy to add a card with your gift at no extra charge. Please leave this information in the comments section of your order with your message at check out.

11. How do I place a custom order?

We LOVE custom orders. We look forward to bringing your vision to life. Contact us at stampedunderthemoon@gmail.com with your ideas and we will be happy to work with you to create your very own one of a kind hand stamped personalized jewelry design.

12. How long does it take to get Remembrance Jewelry ?

We understand that losing a loved one is a difficult time and that remembrance jewelry is a thoughtful gift for someone or something you choose for yourself to keep your lost loved one close to your heart.

We work production to ship remembrance jewelry within 5 days of order but cannot be guaranteed. If you need a remembrance item in a hurry please contact us so we can rush your order.

13. Are the pictures showing exactly what the item will look like?

The pictures shown are a representation of the item you are ordering. Some items due to the curve of the piece may not be easily photographed (I am not currently seeking a day job for my photography skills) I do my best to represent each piece. If you have any question before ordering please contact us.

We carefully create each order by hand and because each item is hand stamped there may be slight spacing variations. This should not be looked at as a defect but as the character of your hand stamped piece.
